The founder of the organization Rod Wechsler, studied Electrical Engineering in South Africa. Rod immigrated to Canada in 1987.

In 1990 Rod established a consultant entity, specializing in high-end custom automation offering services to architects and home owners.

Having difficulty sourcing reliable suppliers & installation companies that understood large scale system integration, he quickly determined that the industry needed focused organizations that were service driven, and committed to quality work. Rod immediately established a new company to focus on this market.

INTO-ELECTRONICS INC. was established in 1991.

Our initial focus was in the residential market installing & integrating custom automation systems that controlled all aspects in the home; including security, cameras, heating, a/c, lighting, pools, blinds, multi-room audio & home theatres.

We were one of the first organizations installing touch screen systems that were the central control point of all devices.

We gained a reputation as an organization with 100% service commitment to our clients.

Our residential client base grew very quickly. Within two years, our services were requested in the commercial & industrial industry.

INTO established a business partner relationship with key suppliers and become a Canadian dealer for various products.

INTO has done projects in USA, South Africa & Israel. With small to large scale installations across North America, we have the experience and staff to manage all types of projects.
